About TC Pageants

TC Pageants is a not-for-profit organization ran by volunteers dedicated to providing an encouraging and positive event for young women of NL. It is currently in it's nineteenth year of production.

We began in 2005 with the Miss Teen Trinity-Conception Pageant for young women ages 13-18. In 2013 we became TC Pageants with the addition of Trinity-Conception Junior Miss covering girls aged 9-12.

In 2017 we expanded the Junior division with the first ever Junior Miss Newfoundland & Labrador Pageant, the Official Provincial pageant for girls aged 10-13 in Newfoundland & Labrador. Miss Teen Trinity-Conception and Junior Miss NL are held annually in September by the TC Pageants organization.

Mission

The Pageant Committee prides itself in striving to focus on the intelligence, academics, leadership, volunteer work and community involvement of the young women in the Province of Newfoundland & Labrador. The pageant's focus is on helping these young women be the best they can be. We want to offer them every opportunity to be able to compete as a representative of their communities and their Province!

What do we do?

Each year contestants come together for a weekend of confidence building, seminars, public speaking, interview skills, and charity fundraisers just to name a few things. We focus on giving each of our contestants a weekend where they can build skills and learn things that will help them in the future. Our previous contestants have learned about sign language, communication with others, bicycle and road safety, internet safety, public speaking, they have had seminars from women in trades teaching them about other avenues of work for women in non women dominated trades and each year they have seminars to help build confidence and work on
public speaking. We offer a wide range of awards given out at the Gala at the end of the weekend. We reward and offer  young ladies the chance to come and be themselves, make new friendships, and gain memories and skills. We make a weekend about girls being themselves, being individual and being proud of who they are. It's a weekend of empowerment and showing young girls they can make a difference.

At the end of the weekend our new titleholders are crowned at  Gala events. Our titleholders then have the opportunity to travel the Province with chances to be on TV, work with charities, attend events, ride in parades and become a role model for the youth of the province.
